Plant-Tech HSMSO is a superior blend of special emulsifier-surfactants and highly refined soybean oil that is designed for use with a broad range of pesticides where an oil concentrate adjuvant is recommended.
Plant-Tech HSMSO is a high surfactant-load methylated seed oil.
Plant-Tech HSMSO improves the efficacy of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, fertilizers, and micronutrients.
The addition of Plant-Tech HSMSO to a spray tank improves pesticide applications by modifying wetting and contact activity of the spray, enhancing penetration, and providing uniform deposition of spray deposit to the leaf surface.
Plant-Tech HSMSO contains anti-foam to suppress foam development in tank-mix combinations.
- Methylated Seed Oil: Soybean oil reacted with methyl alcohol that spreads and penetrates waxy cuticle of targeted surface for improved herbicide efficacy
- Polyethylene Glycol: Holds active ingredient to targeted surface and provides rainfastness
- Nonyl Phenol Ethoxylate: Higher inclusion rate of emulsifier and nonionic surfactant imparting stabilization of formula and enhanced wetting and spreading
- Antifoam: Suppresses foam formation during tank mix agitation
Recommended Rates Below
- 1 pint per acre oil adjuvant recommended on pesticide label: Apply 0.5 to 0.75 pints of Plant-Tech HSMSO per acre.
- 1.5 pints per acre oil adjuvant recommended on pesticide label: Apply 0.75 to 1.00 pints of Plant-Tech HSMSO per acre.
- 1 quart per acre oil adjuvant recommended on pesticide label: Apply 1 pint of Plant-Tech HSMSO per acre.
- 0.5% v/v oil adjuvant recommended on pesticide label: Apply 1 to 2 quarts of Plant-Tech HSMSO per 100 gallons.
- 1.0% v/v oil adjuvant recommended on pesticide label: Apply 2 to 4 quarts of Plant-Tech HSMSO per 100 gallons.
- Prior to pesticide application, clean mixing and application equipment according to pesticide label directions.
- To minimize foaming fill spray tank 2/3 full of water and begin agitation.
- If foaming is anticipated the addition of an antifoaming agent should be added before pesticides, nutrients, or Plant-Tech HSMSO.
- Unless instructed otherwise by pesticide label, add pesticides and/or fertilizers in the following sequence:
- Micronutrients and fertilizers;
- Dry flowables and dispersible granules;
- Flowables;
- Water soluble pesticides;
- Emulsifiable concentrates.
- Continue agitation and add Plant-Tech HSMSO, when completed, reduce agitation and allow to mix for 1 to 2 minutes.
- While under minimal agitation, continue filling tank and allow to mix for 10 to 15 minutes prior to application.
Note: For optimum results, spray mixes containing Plant-Tech HSMSO should be applied within 36 hours.
