Use Rates
The application rates on this label are based on pesticide labels which recommend the use of a methylated seed oil or nonionic surfactant. Use the rate recommended on the pesticide label.
Common Use Rate: 1 pint per acre.
Recommended Use Rate: 1 to 4 pints per acre.
Higher rates may be required on hard to control weeds or weeds which are under stress.
Mixing
- Prior to pesticide application, clean mixing and application equipment according to pesticide label directions.
- To minimize foaming fill spray tank 2/3 or 3/4 full of water and begin agitation.
- If foaming is anticipated the addition of an antifoaming agent should be added before pesticides, nutrients, or Plant-Tech MSO.
- Add pesticides and/or fertilizers as directed by label or in the following sequence:
- Micronutrients and fertilizers;
- Dry flowables and dispersible granules;
- Flowables;
- Water soluble pesticides;
- Emulsifiable concentrates.
- Continue agitation and add Plant-Tech MSO.
- Always add Plant-Tech MSO last to the spray mixture after herbicides have been added and agitated.
- After the addition of Plant-Tech MSO, reduce agitation and allow to mix for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Continue filling tank while under minimal agitation.
